Spirit Walker: Holding the Thresholds
There are days when music breaks me open.
Not because of sorrow, but because it carries me closer to the unseen realms.
This morning I played a piece that felt like a bridge.
Not just for me — but for two people special in my life, one who is near the veil.
the other is my mother, who has carried her light with such quietness of strength.
The melody became "a prayer".
A soft way of saying to both: you are held, you are honored, you are not alone.
It was not a goodbye. It was a weaving — threads of love, healing, harmony and balance sent ahead of them, so that when their own moment of crossing comes, peace will meet them like a familiar hand.
I do not always understand how my life has been given to this — to be a walker between worlds, to hold unseen threads and energetic fields to stand in both the everyday and the eternal.
Some days it aches. Some days it feels like a privilege beyond words that "the unseen thresholds just grab you, hold you, speak to you"...meaning that this too is part of walking in two worlds — holding the unseen with music, memory, and love at the edge of life and death.”
But always, the way is love.
And it is love that will carry them — and all of us — safely across every threshold that is and is to come.
